![]() The deep seat hugs the baby and though a newborn insert can be purchased it’s not needed as baby looks quite comfortable without one. It’s designed to feel like baby is nestled in your arms as you gently sway side to side. The Mamaroo rocker is a smart looking rocker with lots of features to help soothe newborns. Overall, I’m really happy with this mamaroo and having bough the grey, it will be perfect to use if we decide to have baby number 2. It looks really well so I don’t feel that I need to hide it, like I do with her other rockers and playmats. The colour is perfect and goes really well with our kitchen colours. It’s quite heavy and bulky so you can’t really move it from room to room when you want to use it. It is also not in arms reach of baby so it would be ideal if turned on its own. I thought for how much I paid for the product, the mobile could at least turn. The mobile that comes with it is reversible (colourful as well as black and white) and has it has a mirror which she loves, but the downside is that it doesn’t move. It would have been good if you could Bluetooth music to play across. There is a lead to connect to your phone to play your own music but with my phone being a new iPhone, there is no port for the lead to connect. I really like that you can also control it from your phone, meaning you can switch up the movement without having to bend down. We have our mamaroo in our kitchen and it is great for keeping her safe and entertained while I am able to make dinner.
